Welcome to KeyMeet. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the service operated by KeyTech, based in Cuenca, Ecuador, at https://keymeet.ai. By using the service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service description

KeyMeet is a web tool that records meetings, transcribes them to text in real time, and produces summaries, talking points, and action items via artificial intelligence. The transcript and the analyses stay associated with your account for later review.

2. User account

To use the service you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. If you suspect unauthorized access, sign out and notify us.

3. Your responsibility as the meeting host

The service records audio. Before starting any recording, you are responsible for:

  • Informing all participants that the meeting will be recorded, transcribed, and analyzed by AI.
  • Obtaining their consent if the applicable jurisdiction requires it.
  • Not recording conversations where it is forbidden by law.

KeyTech is not a party to your meetings and cannot verify compliance with these requirements.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • Conduct illegal activities in your jurisdiction.
  • Harass, intimidate, or defame third parties.
  • Distribute malware, spam, or illegal content.
  • Circumvent security mechanisms or usage quotas.
  • Reverse-engineer the software for malicious purposes.

5. Subscription and payments

The service offers a free plan with a monthly usage limit and paid plans (Pro and Business) with monthly or annual billing cycles. Current prices and limits for each plan are published on the pricing page, which forms part of these Terms.

  • Payment processor: charges are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as Merchant of Record; charges will appear under their name and their purchase terms apply to payment processing.
  • Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each cycle (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: you may cancel at any time from the billing portal; you keep paid access until the end of the period already charged. No prorated refunds for partial periods, except under the guarantee below.
  • Money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied within the first 30 days after your first payment, we refund the full amount — contact us and we will process it, no questions asked.
  • Usage limits: once you reach your plan's monthly minute limit you cannot start new meetings until the next cycle (an in-progress meeting is never cut off). Unused minutes do not roll over.
  • Price changes: any change will be announced at least 30 days in advance and will never affect a period already paid.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the user menu. KeyTech may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with prior notice when reasonable.

7. Intellectual property

The software, brand, design, and documentation are owned by KeyTech. Your meetings, transcripts, and analyses are yours; you grant us a limited and revocable license to process them in order to provide you the service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate. AI outputs may contain errors and do not constitute legal, financial, or medical advice. Always verify important decisions with a qualified professional.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeyTech will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period will not exceed what you paid for the service during those 12 months (or zero, if you use the free plan).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify KeyTech against third-party claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or via a prominent notice at sign-in, at least 15 days in advance. If you continue using the service after the effective date, you accept the revised version.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Cuenca, Ecuador, without prejudice to consumer rights in your place of residence.
